Hello, LBI! Allow us to introduce ourselves.
Bill and Carole Waldron (left) are the former owners of the LBI Pancake House. They sold the iconic breakfast spot to Christine and Victor Bilcik (right) in May of 2018.
Our family has been spending our summer vacation on Long Beach Island for 25 years now. We’ve rented houses from Ship Bottom to Beach Haven, sometimes on the beach and sometimes on the bay, bringing different family members and friends along with us throughout the years. Each year brings a new house and a new adventure, but one part of our vacation remained a staple on every vacation: the LBI Pancake House. Now, we are honored to be part of its legacy.
This family has dreamed of opening a restaurant for as long as we can remember. Who would have imagined that we’d be here, nearly two decades after our first time at the Pancake House, diving into an opportunity to fulfill our family’s dreams while also keeping an LBI landmark we all love alive?
Thank you so much to the Waldron Family for all their years with the LBI Pancake House; and passing the ceremonial "spatula" to our family. Our family is so excited and are so grateful for this opportunity, to keep a tradition alive and continue to make fantastic memories while meeting and making friends old and new. And of course, thank you to all our loyal and future customers. Come on down and say hello. We can't wait to meet you. Now it time to flip some pancakes!
